Woke up to seeing Dale's old man ass... again. Why oh why did I have to have him as a roommate? lol

So, on the road again. No mission card today because the hotel dropped us, so they didn't want to confuse everyone with the destination.

Today was a good day. I ran with quite a few different groups like the BMW's, and Alicia in her Porsche, and the GTR. We had Chris and some of the BMW guys come whipping past us, and then a little later we passed them as they were pulled over by the cops. Smiley haha... Interesting note: Utah has an unmarked police car that is, get this, a 2007 Shelby GT500. It's white with two silver racing stripes down the middle.

All I can say is that on I-15 I had a blast running through the mountain pass into Nevada with the GTR at 120mph. One of the greatest memories I have of the trip. C5 was having trouble keeping up. Behold the power of AWD!

So now it's down to me, the GTR, and the C5 rolling into Vegas.

First stop before the hotel - dune buggies. Smiley

Playing int he dune buggies was the shit! Unfortunately due to my bad luck, mine broke not even on the second hill out. I heard a strange noise, and then noticed that my front drivers side wheel wasn't touching the ground. That only means one thing. Busted rear suspension. Sad  I stopped and undid my belt only to turn around and see that the back passenger side shock had snapped off the axel and was dragging on the ground. The support crew that came to get me were laughing because before we left I had told them about how bad my luck was. haha...

They took me out to the track area that they had, so I could hop into another car and go out. We're out racing around, trying to follow the tour guide when all of a sudden we look over and there's a buggy flipping nose to tail! It was none other than Geiger and the infamous Mike Boost. We get the car upright and set up for the crew to come get it, and get back into the cars to get going again, when we come up on another group. As we all merge we just see this other buggy come flipping by us! That's two in less than 5 minutes. haha... This time it was Raags and Tony. Those crazy Canadians. lol

The tour guide turns to us and says "They said you guys were going to be rowdy, but we weren't expecting this." lol

All in all a good day. Total of 7 cars broken and 2 flipped. Smiley

Back to the parking lot to get the cars. But what do you do in an empty parking lot? Donuts and drifts of course! The yellow Hertz Z06 drifted and donut'd to the point where the belts were showing on the rear tires. lol... The boys from Crazy House Customs did a burnout in their truck that was so intese that it actually tore holes in the concrete!! I figured that my power steering was fucked, so why not go out and play around with some AWD drifts and donuts. Wink I drifted so hard that I lost the wheel weights on my tires! How the hell does that happen?! lol... the boys from Team Aces High got into the drifting and donut fun, but in doing so they fried some wiring in their car from the heat. So their car had to get towed to the hotel.

The highlight, though... Brent let me drive his GTR. Smiley Smiley Smiley I was so afraid I was going to break it. hahaha... but man that thing was nice. I was only in it for about 10 minutes, but man, that car is everything that you hear about and then some. Words can't describe it, you just have to drive it.

Off to the hotel. Still completely unsure which hotel it will be. Turns out to be the Westin off the strip because we got booted from two other hotels on the strip due to having the reputation for being too rowdy. Where would they ever get that idea?

Dinner and awards were in the lobby restraunt. When we found out that the hotel's a/c wasn't working 60+ people crammed into one room... you can imagine how hot it got. Still a good time.

After that me and a bunch of guys wanted to go get some sushi, so the Verve guys sprung for a huge strech limo to take us there! This thing was truely massive. The place we were going was called Raw, but when we got there it was called Closed. lol... So then the adventure began for us to find sushi late at night in Vegas. Long story short, after runing all over town no sushi, so we took the first all night in-casino place we could find.

Back to the hotel and off to bed.
