Today is not something I'm looking forward to.
Saying my goodbye's.

Rather than just bailing out, I went to lunch with as many of the guys as we could round up.
That put me on the road later than I wanted, but I was debating as to whether or not I should stay another day. Sadly, not having a job was lingering over my head so I couldn't justify spending the money on staying.
So after lunch I said my goodbye's, and hit the road.
I gotta say, that 93 out of Vegas in the evening with the sun setting behind you has got to be the most picturesque road I've been on in a long time. The pictures I took just don't do it justice, but I'll share them with you anyway.

First stop is in Tempe to drop my brothers luggage off to him.
Those that have been following this will remember that he got booted from the rally for trashing the hotel the night before we left NY. I still had all his luggage with me, and had been hauling it around the country with me. I dropped his stuff off and got back on the road.
Stopped in Lordsburg, NM for the night at a brand new Confort Inn. The woman behind the ounter was awesome and hooked me up with a sweet room at a lower rate since I was coming in at around 2am. Thanks so much!!
On to the road again the next morning. I'm determined to make it home without having to stop for another night. I've got a beautiful girlfriend to get home to. I raced all throught the night working with truckers via cb to know where the cops were to make it home at 1am.
13hrs solid on the road and no stops for gas. Have I mentioned how much I love my fuel cell?

So I'm home. Now comes the fun part of sorting video and photos and getting them uploaded since I wasn't able to get them done on the road as planned... then again, nothing ever goes according to plan when it comes to me. lol
Keep your eyes peeled for the photos and videos!
Thanks for following me on this adventure everybody.
Until next rally...
Jack
