A bit of background- my parents had his and hers '88 244s (one 5sp, one auto, both in which I learned to drive), then his and hers 854s (one of which I eventually owned, '96 854 5M). Dad's in a Saab 9-5 now, but Mom's still rockin' the Volvo- an '05 V70 2.5T.
